vegan friends?

Hi,

I became vegan 5 months ago and I am looking for UK friends keep me motivated!

Sorry to ask for UK ppl only but I find it hard looking and dealing with recipes and ingredients that are US when it is already hard to find vegan products in the UK!

I became vegan after reading and watching about the treatment of farm animals and not wanting a part of it. I was particually shocked by the dairy industry... how could I not have realised the cruelty of continious calfing (and removal for veal) of a dairy herd for my milk/cheese etc? lol @ my ignorance (well not lol for the animals involved). Think i'd rather eat meat than dairy if forced. Ugh

Admittidly the US is the main offender of this but the UK is not far behind. uk citizens pls petition against american style 'factory' farming. not on our soil pls

Hi there, I'm a very new vegan living in London who also did it for ethical reasons. I would love someone to share tips with, especially about good foods.... the UK is much scarcer than the US for this sort of thing!
