"Maintaining" state of mind...?

So, I've reached my goal weight (yay!). I've switched my routine up and it's now more focused on weight training so that I can put some weight back on in muscle and I've up-ed my calories/protein/carbs slightly. But, it seems like my brain has switched itself into "I reached my goal" thinking and I find myself thinking that since I've hit my goal weight I can start being more lenient in my diet because I'm busting my a$s at the gym lifting heavy. And I KNOW this is a crap way of thinking... I can tell I've put on a couple pounds of fat along with a few pounds of muscle, which I know happens when you're lifting and increase your calories, but it's making me feel like I'm sabotaging myself because for 9 months I was stepping on the scale every two weeks and seeing my weight lower by 2-4 lbs at a time. Now, I see it going up in tiny little increments. And it SUCKS (I know I said above that I want to put weight on in muscle, but it's weird when you actually see the scale going the opposite way than it used to...) I guess my problem is that I can't tell what weight is getting put on in muscle or fat and it's making me think like I'm gaining tons of weight (fat). Yes, I see my body changing and muscles becoming more defined, but it's just my mind screwing with me, I think...

Anyone else having this "problem"? I'm not sure if it's really a problem or if I just need to switch my way of thinking from losing weight to maintaining/putting on muscle. I might sound like a nutcase, but there's gotta be someone who's going through it too.

dont worry about raising your cals cause youre lifting - anything new will show on your body- but you know- because youve come this far- that it just takes a month or so for your body to adapt and then it starts progressing again.

You know this :) You got this, girl :)
