Clothes, Help!

So I have lost 27 lbs now and my clothes are hanging off of my body. Even my gym clothes arent fitting anymore. I still have a looooong road ahead of me and I just dont have the funds to keep buying new stuff. A belt sounds like a good idea for jeans and such but they have such saggy crotch now that i look like a mess most of the time. So my question is how do you people who have alot to lose go about new clothes. Do you live in gym clothes? do you just deal with saggy clothes with a belt?

I have the same problem allot of the time and sizes keep changing every few weeks to months. So I shop allot at good will now a days you can find items there brand new with original tags for about $3-$8 depending on what you are looking for wash it before wearing of course but a huge savings. Clearance racks are great places to shop as well walmart, JC Penny, and Kmart run clearance sales allot of the time where you can get pants or tops for $2-$5. Now if you are celebrating a big lose or achievement and want to splurge look at some of the sale specials at stores like Sears, Avenue, Marshalls, TJ Max they have good bargins on good quality clothes but still cost a bit more Clearance or sale can range from $5-$35 for Denim or Top depending on what you get and when. And a huge tip thats only around until the end of November Fashion Bug is closing all it's stores and clearancing all of thier stock so from now until the end of November they will get new merchandise daily to clear out the warehouses but continue to mark down the prices. I manage to not spend more than $10 on a pair of Jeans unless like I said celebrating a huge lose or accomplishment and no more than $10 a top for good work or going out tops workout clothes I spend no more than $5 a piece because it will only last a month or so tops before it won't fit anymore. Good luck I hope this helps.

Thrift stores have become my friend! It is amazing some of the things that you can find there...and cheap. As my clothes get too big, I donate them back to the thrift store so other people will be able to find great stuff cheap too! Also, I look for sales at Old Navy, and even Walmart. I can get things pretty cheap and I still dont want to spend a lot of money on clothing because I am still losing. They even have pretty inexpensive work out clothing.

Goodwill! I find lots of stuff with tags on them! And they have started getting clearenced Target clothes but you do have to spend some time searching. We have a great good will and I get name brands new all the time. Especially workout clothes because a lot of people don't stick with it and don't ever use them. Good luck and great job!!!

If you want nicer stuff, try consignment stores. They tend to have good work clothes.

Forever21. Rainbow. Second Hand stores. Clothing swap with other homegirls that are losing weight. Spend most of your time naked :D

I work in the corporate offices of a bank, so I have to dress a certain way. I was so big at the beginning that everything was knit of some kind (stretch) with elastic waist pants. So I wore those things for a long time because with stretchy stuff you can, it only looks better as it fits looser. When I finally replaced, I bought the same stuff just at the size I was going into. It was tight at first, just now is starting to loosen up, but I will get another 20-30 pounds out of this stuff before I absolutely have to replace. So that's one way. Clearance, second hand, resale shops, garage sales are good alternatives to the store. And if you need professional stuff like suits, try Craig's List or a Women's Resource Center type organization. And finally, if you know of someone who has lost a bunch of weight already, you might want to ask them to sell you their "too big" clothes. I had barabtric surgery and one of the people I met at the Dr.'s office was, as she got smaller, giving the stuff she could no longer wear to another surgery patieint who had her surgery 6 months later. They buddied up on the clothes, so look for a buddy. Hope this helps.

I've gone from a sz 24 to sz 8 and not once have I look sloppy or saggy. It just isn't an option for me. A huge part of what drives me is looking good, and feeling my best. That said, I've fallen in love with consignment stores! Name brands at Wal-Mart prices.

I'm constantly hitting the sales racks for new clothes. The great thing about sale racks is that stores usually put things on sale as they get clothes in for the next season, so the sale items are cheap and appropriate for the weather right now. It may not be exactly my style, but it's not like I was stuck with anything because I dieted out of it soon anyway.
