Snowboarding

Does anyone else on here snowboard? I have been going at least once a week this winter and was unsure how many calories are burned (it isn't on the database here). Not a big deal because I don't count it as one of my workouts, but it definitely is one so I was curious.

I don't snowboard, but I do quite a bit of skiing... I have the calorie count as 450 calories per hour for moderate effort (for a 150 lb person) (found a few different webpages via Google that have similar numbers)--I imagine that snowboarding should be about the same. I do count this as a workout as there will be a couple of weeks this winter when I will ski 6 times!--doesn't leave much time to do much else! Of course, when I do count it, I figure that in an 8 hour day of skiing, I spend roughly 1/3 of the time skiing, 1/3 of the time on chair lifts, and 1/3 of the time in the lodge, so it only amounts to about 2.5 hours of actual exercise.
