Been on MPF since April, but new to the community

Hello I’m Marc.
I’m not really new, but I just recently started using the community feature of the site and thought I would introduce myself. I’ve been using MFP since late April on and off. It has helped me to better judge portions and make some better choices. While I do want results, I’m not going to beat myself up when I don’t follow along perfectly.
Being single, I feel I need to get myself back into shape as the dating scene is already rough enough, but more importantly, I want to be trim and healthy for my own well-being and self-confidence.
I just found the plans over on bodybuilding.com and I’m starting the Lee Lebrara Lean Body program. I won’t be able to follow that perfectly either, as it has you giving up alcohol, and I’m not about to do that, although I do partake in moderation, I’m not training to do fitness shows or anything. I’m simply trying to lose body fat and gain lean muscle. Ideally I would like to stay around my current weight (210-220) but drastically reduce my body fat percentage. Diet will be my biggest obstacle as the working out comes easier for me. My problem is I have a strong dislike for most veggies!
