I know how vain this sounds before I say it but I still have to get it off my chest.

I feel more pressure to be skinny because my parter and I have an age gap. I don't think people can get their heads around our relatioship unless we fit the cliche appearence of older man with skinny young girlfriend. I know it is a silly way to think, particularly because I know our relationship is more than that and I rather people acknowedge that we are together because we love each other but it is always in the back of my mind.

    my husband is 18 yrs older than I am...he has always supported me through thick and thin :) (yes..pun was intended..hehe)
