How should I log my activity?

I am going to be spending the day at a large amusement park. I try to exercise every day but of course won't be doing so tomorrow. While of course I won't be counting any time that I am on rides or standing in line, how would you all count the calories burned for the walking that I will be doing? I am a fairly fast walker on any occasion so I thought to keep track of the amount of time I spend actually walking around the park and then using that as walking at 2.5 mph which is my normal leisure speed. I just wanted to see if someone had other ideas of how I might calculate this. Thanks.
