So I want to lose like 15 pounds, which should put me at like 138. Round it up to 140 and that would be good. But my family constantly brings in unhealthy food. We order out like at least 3 times a week. Also, being a student teacher, I teach in the morning and take classes at night which requires me to stop and get food. I try to make better health choices. For instance, I just recently decided to cut out pop when I go through the drive thru and have been drinking water for the past 4 days. I'm not really missing pop at all actually. But it's the food.
I feel like this is more of a mental problem than a weight one and sometimes I feel like I can't do it and that I'm destined to be 153 or possibly more.

A lot of people have the same troubles as you. I'd suggest looking at the ordering menu and see if you can order something healthy. Bring your own food between work and classes, a sandwich, some home made snacks etc. Cutting out pop was a really good choice, good for you! You can do this!0

It is possible to lose while hitting the drive-thru but it take advance planing. Most chain's will have nutrition on the web - download it and figure out what fits in your calorie target for each meal. That way you have a plan about what to order. Look at the kids meals - they will have veggie and fruit options and smaller portions.
If your folks are doing the ordering opt for smaller portions - 1 slice pizza, only a few fries, half a big sandwich and save the rest for a later meal. Go with the side salad and small burger, get your burger without cheese or mayo, get grilled chicken instead of crispy - so many small things that can add up to a healthier choice.
If you can take your own meals and snacks - it makes it easier if you can.0
