I seem to always go over on my protein. How bad is this for me???:huh:

    I have the same problem... Here I was thinking that I eat too many carbs and not enough protein, and with MFP, I discover that it's actually the opposite. I also seem to not be getting enough fat.

    MFP sets the protein on the low side--you can go into set custom goals to adjust your carb-protein-fat ratio to your liking.

    There have been A TON of threads asking the same question, including my own. The responses that i received said that the site tends to set the protein allowance pretty low. If you are seeking to gain muscle, then there's nothing wrong with consuming the extra protein. Protein will not make you gain weight (only possibly muscle weight). The more important numbers to monitor are calories and carbs/sugar.
