Debating about getting an Ab circle. I've found one used pretty cheap and I have used one before, not for an extended period of time though, and was wondering thoughts and opinions.

no. it's dumb.
if you want some cheap at-home equipment for abs, get an ab wheel
they are less than ten bucks and actually good0 -
I have an Ab Circle and it's only collecting dust...I agree with the ab wheel I know Wally World carries them for about 8 bucks. I have been thinking of selling mine to get it out of the house.0

I had one and loved it, loaned it to my mother who is now extremely attached to it, lol, so I said she could keep it and am now looking for another for myself. After having five c-sections things like ab-rollers don't work well for me, as my muscles aren't developed enough (after been chopped through with my two emergencies) to keep a smooth controlled movement on their own, so I've found the Ab circle awesome (same for my mother who had 3 c-sects). I still do crunches too.
That is my experience anyway.0 -

Didn't know what Ab Circle was so a search found the following:
Ab Circle Pro Settles With FTC Over ‘Deceptive’ Fitness Claim
“Just three minutes a day won’t make you thin,” said the Federal Trade Commission.
With that, the FTC announced that it has filed deceptive advertising charges against the marketers of the Ab Circle Pro exercise device, pitched in infomercials by fitness celebrity Jennifer Nicole Lee.
The defendants agreed to a settlement of as much as $25 million to the consumers who bought the device, which cost $200 to $250. As part of the settlement, customers can apply for a refund. The size of the refund will depend on the number of people who file for one.
In its infomercials, Fitness Brands Inc. claimed that a three-minute workout with the Ab Circle Pro, a fiberglass disk with stationary handlebars on which users knelt and rotated their bodies, was the equivalent of 100 sit-ups. One infomercial included testimony from a user who claimed to have lost as much as 60 pounds. Lee said that she lost 80 pounds after using the device.0
