i need a recommendation for a neutral running shoe. i have been in asics for years, but when i bought the new Cumulus, it was great until I ran downhill. then i felt like i had no padding under the ball of my foot, they burned and when i got home i felt like i had been wearing heels all day. (i returned them.)
then i tried some fancy new balance neutrals, but there was too much padding. my feet went numb just walking around.
i tried on Brooks but felt like there was a weird piece of padding on the outside of my foot that would give me cramps.
what should i try on next?
