GUYS: Suggestion on an electric shaver?

Simply put, traditional razors have been eating up my face over the last several years. Bumps, irriation, etc. I've tried pretty much every type of razor. Currently I just use some fairly cheap 4 blade disposibles because it doesn't seem to make a difference what kind I use.

I've thought about purchasing an electric shaver for quite a while to see if it would help. Anyone out there have any suggestions/advice?

Electric shavers leave me in a permanent state of stubble.

My facial hair is very thick I can go from baby smooth to mountain man in about 5 days. I don't know how you are. I get my 5 o'clock shadow at 10 am

Make sure you get a Wet/Dry one (easier to clean when you can run it under water)

I tried several types of electric shavers but always end up with ingrown hairs so I moved to shaving with razor & shaving gel. The electric shaver that was the best for me was the Braun Microfoil but that was several years ago.

My husband uses a Braun shaver that has a base it fits in that does automatic sharpening or something. He is very pleased with it. Sorry I don't know a model number or anything.

    wax you big softy

    lol

    your face?
I just don't really imagine that will work.
  • sure it would work... thousands of women wax their moustaches every day...

it would just take longer and hurt slightly more on a man beard...

honestly though... if you dont want a beard, but get razor burn easily... wax... its not that painful as long as you hold the skin near the strip so it doesnt yank it too hard...

ask a lass for help with waxing... but its a good choice actually and far... far smoother than shaving

I just watched a few you tube videos but it looks wicked painful. i'd take razor burn.
