Here's the deal - I hate coke, soda and soft drinks. I hate them because they make me thirsty and make me order more food in restaurants. Haven't drunk any soda for more than 10 years.

One of the home-made drinks that I love is my "Red Fruit Tea".

Note: what to add and how much to add is your choice. If you like it sour, add more hibiscus flowers and lemon, if you like it sweet, add more honey. Herbs are optional. Fruits - I add a lot of apple slices and prepare a spoon ;)

What you need:
- hibiscus flowers (~1-2 flowers/cup)
- honey
- lemon
- raw apple slices
- raw orange slices
- herbs (mint, cinnamon, clove etc)

Get a pot of boiling water, add all the ingredients, cover with a lid and wait 5-10 mins.
Serve hot in winter, cold or iced (with sparkling water) in summer - it's a really nice healthy drink that YOU make for YOURSELF. No giant food companies involved :)

Have a nice tea time, folks!
