Any success stories who still struggle?

Long story short, I've been successful. Lost 100 pounds, but still need to lose about 25-30 more. But what sucks is that even with this weight loss, I STILL struggle with my eating. I'm an emotional/stress eater, and I had hoped that would change once I lost weight. But it's still there. I guess it's always going to be there.
Anyone else feel like this? Any advice? I have been seeing a counselor a couple times a month, and she recommended a book called "The Thin Within". (Bought it but still need to read it!). I guess I had just thought that once I was a "success" it wouldn't be so tough any more. Sigh.

This is a link to a blog posted by one of the individuals that lost 250 lbs on Extreme Makeover weightloss edition. It touches on what you are discussing. Hope it helps.0 -

I have lost 65 lbs and have 9 lbs left until my BIG goal! However, now that I am closer I think I will be losing a little more.
Anyway, I still struggle with eating because I am bored or because of stess. Some days are better than others ofcourse but here are some things that I do to prevent eating....or in my case binging!
1.) If I find myself heading to the kitchen, looking in the cabinets... leaving the kitchen and doing this over and over I will do a few excersizes. Nothing hardcore just some jumping jacks or jogging in place...
2.) I will do something I am putting off. ex: picking up the house (gets my mind off of eating) I find that once I accomplish something it helps me to feel better because I got something done and in return helps me to not want to eat.
3.) Chew gum!
4.) I am finally finding healthy foods that I really enjoy and I don't feel deprived of yummy food. I like to find healthier alternatives.
ex: greek yogurt with almonds, healthy homeade ice cream, whole wheat pita pocket make into a pizza with turkey bacon and meat, cheese and pizza sauce
Hope this helps! Good luck! Congrats on your success btw!0 -

I've lost over 80 lbs over the past few years. I still have around 10 to go and i struggle with the motivation to do it because I'm working so hard and the results are so slow...so i often throw in the towel. Since I've been on MFP since May, I've lost 20...so I'm hoping I can get that 10 of by xmas! We can do it!0
