Sweating in strange places

I've really been hitting the gym and I'm enjoying it. The one issue is that I've never noticed how much I sweat before. My scalp sweats, face, even my navel sweats. I know taking a shower after helps but its just very uncomfortable. Anybody have this issue? Any creams or powders?

Thanks

learn to love it.. I sweat gallons from my scalp and face, hardly anything from my armpits or back.

just make sure to drink plenty to replace it :)

Don't judge me!! But I use baby powder when cleanly shaven ...down there...which helps a ton when sweating

that's why it's important to wear the appropriate gear when you exercise.

invest in things that are moisture wicking because it's well worth it. those oversized boxy cotton tees and cotton sweat pants might be comfortable when you're just bumming around at home, but if you're a heavy sweater and working out they arent the best choice

and personally i love the sweat. my skin looks so much better now that i do intense workouts most of the week, i dont really even need foundation anymore because of it.

as for a sweaty scalp, i wash my hair several times a week

We get brainwashed into thinking that sweating is a bad thing, it unhygienic, nasty.....

The fact of the matter is that it is simply your body doing what it is supposed to prevent you from overheating, if you perspire freely while exercising rejoice, your cooling system works efficiently.

I went into The Running Room, and asked how I could sweat less or if it was ever going away and they also advised me "Learn to Love it". AND - - I have learned to love it, because it never goes away. Even with the wicking clothes, it rolls down my face, into my eyes, down my legs . . . well, everywhere. And really, it is healthy because you're causing your body to create heat. I've found I sweat more since I started building lean muscle mass.

I just tell myself that every bead of sweat is the toxins and fat rolling out of my body. Yes, I know that's not technically correct, but it helps me accept that I'm going to stick right after my work out, OK?!

I am a sweaty person and I love it. My workout partner doesn't much, but I've only dripped on her a few times.

I used to sweat like crazy when i lost my initial 30 pounds, now i have my last 20 pounds to lose and i sweat very very less, i kind of miss it.

Feel blessed to be able to sweat, its flushing fat and toxins out of the body and keeping the lymph system up and running.

Get used to it. There's nothing wrong with sweating... it's the way your body reacts to the work you're putting it through. It's a good thing.

One thing I really like about the gym is that it's the one place I can go and not give a **** whether someone sees the sweat stains on my arm pits or not.
