Running 3 Times a Week Enough?

I work shift work, so I find it really hard to run often (tired after night shifts, tired after morning shifts etc). I would like to get fit, and I am thinking of just sticking to 3 runs a week - currently interval training, 4 min run / 1 min walk for 25 minutes. Really I would like to know if this will be enough to get fitter?

    Yes. Three times a week is the minimum needed to improve fitness.
