Ok, I just got my fitbit, and I am all signed up with the site, but the thing didn't come with any instructions. In the exercise tab there is a thing called fitbit adjustment. Well when I worked out with my HRM I put the info into that. Should I have NOT done that and just logged it the other way? I notice that everytime I log on my numbers are different, and im getting different numbers on this site then on the fitbit one. Did I make a boo boo?

Fitbit keeps changing during the day and adjusting to time elapsed and estimated burn
It also includes the calories burned just by being alive.
Its ok to overide with the HRM just make sure that the start and elapsed time are correct in the activity record you create.
There are sometime delays before FitBit and MFP update each others data.0 -
Thanks for posting this site. I just bought mine today and I'm sure I will need this help when it gets here.0

I never log my exercise. I have noticed that myfitnesspal does an adjustment for the fitbit. If I log exercise in MFP, it will double my calories burned and give me more calories to eat. I don't need this for sure!
BTW I love my fitness pal and I'm sure you will, too.0 -

Log all your "Exercise" into MFP with the start time and duration and it will NOT double count but will cancel out what is in fitbit during that period for "Activity" calories. You will still get adjustments from fitbit for other activity and that is what shows up in MFP as the fitbit adjustment. If you do stairs etc. and did not log it as exercise then you get calorie credit for it.0
