Hello Everyone!
Just joined today and where do I begin....
My name is Sarah. Just had my 3rd child 2 months ago. and I am ready for all this weight to go! I guess you could say I joined this site to hopefully meet women(or men) who are looking to lose weight and share their "weight loss journey"
My thinnest I have ever been was between 130 - 140. which of course after high school is when i started gaining weight. In high school I played softball(pitcher) so was super active, lifted weights, running, and eating healthy. after high school met my husband (going on 3 years) and i guess i was so happy i didn't care about what i ate or "how fat i got" . i was fixing all of them southern delicious foods for us and never thought once about the side effects i would have from eating it all that time.
so to keep story shorter after having my 3rd child, i am 170 lb over weight than what i used to be! how could i let myself get that bad? anyways i plan to lose it and i will, just hoping to look for friends on here to meet and join me.
next year i plan on looking sexy in a bikini
please add me as a friend and i wish anyone else luck on theirs.

You are gonna KILL that bikini!
I know exactly what you mean about being so happy with your husband you didn't care what you were eating - it's funny how being completely happy and comfortable with someone can lead to that. And not even really in a bad way. It is really nice to know that someone loves you and thinks you're beautiful no matter what.
But, at the same time, you eventually reach a point where you want to make yourself better, and here we are!0 -

lol yes we do! sometimes when i look at myself in the mirror i can't even see why he does. but if he loved me before i got super over weight then i know he must really love me now to stick by my side and help motivate me to be healthy.0 -
You can do this, just be patient. You didn't put it on overnight, It won't come off overnight. Don't go crazy and starve youself, that never works longterm. You were athletic before, gradually add that back in, (you get to eat more, yay!) Eat healthy, exercise and the healthy weight will follow. Best of luck to you.0

Hey, Howdy.....I'm Jakki and, yeah I'm new. My sister and I are training for a half marathon but she is in better shape than I am. She has agreed to (kick my butt) help me get to my goal of not dying while running. AND if I lose weight in the process I won't sue anyone. ROFL In fact, I hope to lose a lil so Halloween won't be so traumatic to others. :blushing:0
