    Yeah...I googled, too. Seems half a pint is one cup...so four pints or more per day.

    A cup of water is 8 oz, but I recently saw a doctor because of a kdney stone. I asked for clarification and when _ # of glasses a day is recommended, apparently that's a 10-12 oz glass of water, NOT 8 oz.

    Try again. 250 ml is considered a metric cup, but 8 ounces does not equal 250.5 ml. Not at all.

    I stand corrected. I've never heard of a metric cup. I should do more googling as well.

    I will never understand why we Americans decided to use our own measuring system that confuses the rest of the world, and vice versa. What was wrong with metric? lol
