So I had originally been working out 5-6days a week and was stalled at 128lbs, then labor day came around, my husband got sick and was staying home, so I was working out 3-4days a week and have been for the past 3-4weeks. I am now down to 123lbs!! The weight just literally was coming off every couple of days and it has been consistent! I also did up my calories, so idk if that had anything to do with it, but I thought if I worked out less I would GAIN weight, instead I am losing it!
I have been doing 30-35mins of cardio with some minor resistance using 3lb weights. Just wondering if anyone had any insight why decreasing exercise helped me increase my weight loss???
ETA: my diet did not change at all during that time, except that I was eating a little more, but still the same types of foods. The only change was my amount of exercise.

Same thing happens to me. When we exercise, we are stressing the body and muscles and they tend to hold onto water to repair themselves. I often gain a little, especially when starting a new exercise routine, and find the scale drops when I take some time off. The body likes rest!
