My body hurts... but not from working out

I had surgery 3 weeks ago and wasn't allowed to do any physical activity until I was fully healed. My incisions are pretty much just scars now. I've been on vacation since last Wednesday...and I haven't done anything, which I'm OK with, just wanted to chill out.
HOWEVER I've honestly been laying in bed for 5 days now... my body hurts because I haven't done anything. It hurt before because I was going to the gym and then stopped. It hurts to do anything...
What's the best way to slowwwwwwwwwwwly work back into a regimen that will help unstiff my body and get me back into the gym.

Walking is always a good way to start. Start as slowly as you need to; then increase the distance each time. Increase length of time you walk until you are walking at least 30 minutes 5-6 days a week. Baby steps.0

walking, swimming (check with doctor, don't want to infect incisions) and biking are three very good exercises that you can do without much impact and can go at your own pace0
