Polar FT 7 HRM chest strap unisex?

I have a Polar FT 7, is the chest strap unisex? Meaning are the sensors in different places on the ladies version? I want to let my wife test it out once. I know I would have to change the settings on the wrist band to her, but I want her to see what it is like and see just about how many calories she really does burn while at work. Anyone have any experience with that?

Hm, I never really thought about this... I bought the same model for men (I am a woman) because I liked the color better, and it was cheaper. The sensors sit on my rib cage. I'm sure the accuracy wouldn't change much if the sensors were off a little.

The strap is the same, to my knowledge.

I would think they are the same, i just wanted to make sure. I know where the strap is worn there is a couple differences between men and women and so I wasn't 100% positive. Thanks.
