New active job-should I increase cals?

I'm starting a new job today. I'm moving from a sedentary 8 hour a day desk job to a 6 hour a day on my feet job. Currently I eat 1300 cals and I eat back most exercise cals. I've been able to stay with a consistent weight loss doing it this way. Do you guys think I should up my cals by 200 or 300 because of the activity level change?

I would just listen to my body and adjust your calories from there..Bring along an extra fruit and a small bag of nuts just in case u get hungry.0

Only if you hungry! Or update your settings changing the lifestyle from sedintary to the next level and see if mfp ups your cals.0

That's the whole point of why it asks you about your daily lifestyle. Change it from sedentary to lightly active.0

I made a similar job change a few months ago. I started off just logging the calories as "walking" under exercise, but later decided to change my activity setting to lightly active. I am still losing weight at about the same rate, so it seems to have worked.
One of the things I like about the way MFP sets things up is that daily activity is separate from dedicated exercise. I was always confused about how many calories to eat because a lot of sites base it off how many days a week you exercise and it always seemed to me that exercising 3 days a week shouldn't mean that you eat more every day.
Anyway, that's a long way of saying I think you should up your activity level!0 -

I dont use mfp settings to begin with ... i have developed my own thing and it has worked for me. Mfp settings are way to low in protein way to high in the carbs and have never been good for me cal wise. Im gonna go up to 1500 and see how it goes. Need fuel for my workouts0

Personally I wouldn't... if you find at the end of the day you are hungry, I would eat something sensible even if you go over your calories. But I would play it by ear for a couple weeks and see how it goes.
Good luck
ETA - I agree with changing your activity level on MFP and see how much it increases your calories.0 -

You can manually adjust the protein and carbs to be a good goal for you. The MFP settings can help you determine a good calorie goal.0 -

And you work out HARD, girl! Go ahead and see how 1500 works for you. I think you can trust your own judgement. YOU GOT THIS!0
