Std related question?

After a gyno visual pee in a cup and pap smear for stds would you say your in the clear ? I also have had blood work at my primary care and peed in a cup there would thay have called if there was a problem?

    You should find out exactly what they tested for. Otherwise you can never be sure. Good luck.

    If you are concerned that you may have an STD, tell your health care provider so they can do the proper test(s).

    S/he has heard it all before.

    Pee could show if you have trichomonas. The pap smear could show some changes due to HPV. The blood work, it depends on what was ordered. HIV or syphillis or gonorrhea they would call you if it were positive.

    As others have said, it depends on what they tested for.

    If there was something wrong, they generally call.

    If nothing was mentioned to the doc, only routine labs/tests would have been performed and that would NOT rule out all stds.
