Best exercies for toning...EVERYTHING

I'm FINALLY going back to the gym tomorrow.

I had some guys from work helping me the last time I went buuuut I'm pretty sure they were trying to kill me.

I did a lot of free weights and maybe 15-30 minutes cardio (stair master or treadmill on 12 incline)

I've accepted the fact that I have thick thighs and although I'm not happy about it, if I can tone them up and not be so jiggly I'll be more comfortable.

I'd like more muscle and definition in my arm (I'm not weak by any means, but also am not defined)

What type of exercises would be best to tone up and gain some muscle...for everything?
