I'm new to myfitnesspal, but not new to exercise. I had fallen into a rut of making terrible food choices, and even with the moderate exercise I WAS getting, I was still gaining weight. I have stopped doing the long, steady-state cardio in favor of HIIT (high intensity interval training) on the elliptical, plus I work out with a punching bag (punches/elbows/kicks...kickboxing moves) 6 days a week. I strength train to failure 3 times a week, 15 minutes at a time. Is that enough or should I be doing something different?

Great site...it has made me extremely mindful of what I CHOOSE to put in my mouth.

I got tired just reading your post. That's a lot of exercise. Make sure your taking in enough calories for your body to burn. Good luck and welcome.
