So I breastfeed my daughter (6 months), she also does two solids a day if this matters. I never add extra calories to account for BF but usually go over my recommended by about 200 a day a least. Never had a problem with milk supply so does this seem ok to do?

Generally what I do is allow 4 ounces/nursing session throughout the day, and basically add it in each day based on yesterdays nursing sessions (if that makes any sense). As long as your milk supply and quality are good, what you are doing is working, and you should keep doing it.0

sounds fine to me. BF requires 200 to 400 more calories for most people. If baby is doing well and you feel that your supply is good then I say do what you are doing.0

Sounds fine. It's unlikely your milk supply will suffer unless you're really starving yourself. Mother Nature takes care of baby first. The recommended calories are just that...a recommendation. The only way to found out how many calories you need to lose weight is to experiment. If you're losing weight and baby's happy, that's all that matters.0
