I've been achy for the past couple of days, and tried to work through some of it, but had built up a stupid amount of tension in my neck/traps and legs.

So today I went 'swimming', except I didn`t even try to swim, which is what I thought I was going to do.

I basically just floated and sort of gently kicked and frog-legged. Hardly used my arms - sometimes, just let them dangle. Let my spine settle into a neutral, comfortable position, and kept my head in alignment with it (so, floating on front, head in water; floating on back, ears in the water. Jaw relaxed.). Swapped when something else needed relaxing. Sometimes I just loosely hugged the floater board thing to do even less work.

I only went for 30 minutes (decided late) but could have gone on forever.

Between that and the deep breathing you have to do to swim, I feel 70% better. Thought I`d share with those who haven`t tried this!
