Macros by body type?

I saw a post about hitting your macros and someone mentioned adjusting one's macros to one's body type. I've seen a basic 40p/30f/30c all over the place and was wondering what other people are using and how they determined their ideal macros. How do you determine based on body type? I didn't even think about matching macros to body type!

I adjust my macros to my training schedule. On a normal day I have them at 40c/30p/30f. Right now I'm at 50p/30c/20f until Wednesday when I'll switch to carbo loading at 60c/20p/20f until race day on Sunday. I'm eating at my TDEE this week due to the race on Sunday, but will go back to my weight loss settings again.
MFP is a really powerful tool. Use it to get maximum performance out of your body based on your personal goals.0 -
I used to do 40/30/30 cpf.
I change it up all the time and I don't really pay that much attention to macros anymore... but I have mine set at 30/30/40 cfp. I usually stick around 35/35/30 cpf though, depending on my training.0
