important: bulimic imagery in MFP advertising

An open letter to the My Fitness Pal management:

One of your advertisers on the site, Eathealthysecrets.com, has an image of a girl with her head in the toilet with a caption that reads "3 foods NEVER to eat!" You must understand that this image is not only inappropriate but dangerous within a community of people who are struggling to lose weight an a HEALTHY way. Bulimia is a terrible disease; it is disturbing that it should be exploited in advertising. In general, MFP has a very positive, supportive and healthy community. The owners of MFP should be very proud that pro-anorexia and pro-bulimia messages are discouraged / forbidden.

On behalf of the users of the site, I ask that you contact your advertiser Eathealthysecrets.com and request that they redesign an advertisement with more healthy imagery. Their current design is not suitable to the MFP brand and its community of users.

Thank you for your attention in this matter. I look forward to continue using My Fitness Pal in good health.
