Hello All! I started the ChaLean Extreme program and am now on week 3 of the Burn Circuit! Yey Meeh! But I have a question for any of you who have done this or are doing it. Is it normal to gain weight the first month? I feel like I have not been able to lose as much as I typically have lost with Jillian Michaels programs. But this program is different. Its more strength training than cardio. In fact I have maybe gained 3 lbs. I know that "you are what you eat" & "Muscle weights more than fat" but I am just reaching a point of low motivation I guess.... I have read about all the myths about women strength training and right now I am not feeling like they are myths.
I think it would really help if I had others success stories from this program if any one if out there!
Thank you and Aloha!

Completely normal.
Infact, I did the entire program, and did not lose a single pound.
My advice is to not focus on the scale, and TAKE PICTURES! You will see a ridiculous change in your body shape and composition. I didn't lose any weight, but my body changed drastically! It's a great program, stick with it, and don't worry about numbers. Focus on inches, and see that through photos0 -
I'm not going to insert my pic, but I will link to it here.

In those two pictures, I am the exact same weight, but there is an obvious difference.0
