Halloween Candy Fix

So, I've seen A LOT of posts with people saying they're worried about getting candy and eating it along with the trick or treaters, well, Oriental Traders just released their Halloween Catalog filled with all sorts of cool ideas, Halloween themed yoyo's for 3 bucks a dozen, You can get a bunch of yoyo's cheaper than a bag of candy! Jack-o-lantern themed punch balloons are cheap and fun too...They have inflatables, wax lips, paddleballs, and sooo much more that the kids will love and most of it is way cheaper than a bag of chocolate fun size and you definitely won't eat it.


So there's my suggestion/solution to your candy cravings. Because even a desperate choc-o-holic will eat a candy bar he/she doesn't necessarily like much.

    That's a good idea, I'm in the UK so will only get a handful of trick or treaters anyway and I usually buy a load of cheap sugary junk that I don't let my own kids eat so I may get some things like balloons etc this year instead.

    Thanks :) So many people assume the kids only go for candy. I remember one year a house on our block gave out small stuffed animals like you'd win from a claw game and the kids were going NUTS over them.

    When I was a kid I LOVED to get not-candy in my bag. I remember one year a house gave out these little monster finger puppets... I probably kept those for a good 5 years, for some reason.
