So, I started 30 day shred yesterday and my body is so sore! While I thought my many hours on the elliptical has helped my endurance I was dead.wrong. However, I am excited to see the difference even towards the end of the week of how much longer I can go on these workouts!
But, have any of you experiences extreme muscle pain the next day? I did it yesterday morning and felt fine throughout the day (i'm on my feet most of the day) but boy oh boy, when I stepped out of bed this morning I about hit the floor! lol! It was horrible! All of my students are poking horrible fun of me because "Miss Whitney's walking funny! HAHAHA" Yea Any ways...how have y'all coped with it? What are your solutions? I'm hoping to get back to it today once I get home.
I know this is an intense program and I am by no means trying to complain, I just guess I am a lot further behind then I thought!

I was super sore for a couple of days after I started and I just kind of delt with it. After day 3 or 4 I had very little to no pain and my endurance is way up. Don't let the pain keep you from doing it though, pain is fat leaving the body (I think that's what Jillian said)!0

Make sure you stretch after you finish. You'll be sore becuae you're using different muscles than the ones you use on an elliptical. The soreness usually lessens in a few days.0

Never been so sore in my entire life as I was after my first 30DS workout. I had to take three days off to recover, because like you, I was walking funny, it hurt to up or down even a single step, to sit down or get up from sitting was absolutely brutal. I told my husband that if the house caught fire he'd better grab me because I'd never make it out in time.
Even through you've been doing the eliptical, the Shred has new moves that your muscles aren't accustomed to, especially if you used weights (I used the only ones I had at the time, 5lbs, and promptly, when I could move again, went out and bought 2lb and 3lb dumbbells! LOL).
Don't be afraid to take a day or two off and let those muscles heal. You'll be back to it and rocking those workouts in no time, and using heavier weights.0
