Breaking Up P90X

I just realized that my first post was truncated, so I'm updating it:
I work at home now, but I used to do P90X with my coworkers. Now that I'm home, I'm wondering if I could still benefit from it by breaking it up. I'm trying to work for two hours then do 2-3 sets of lifting with the DVD for about 15 minutes. Then I repeat that all day so that I make it through the entire weight lifting disk and also don't get tired from sitting on my butt all day. I'm wondering if this is really going to be successful, though, or if I really need to do the moves back to back to benefit from them. For the cardio, I’m alternating those disks every other day, or I’m running after work. Any thoughts?
Thanks!
Anita

I would say the program was design to give you the best result possible. If you are doing 15 min here and there, I don't think you are going to get the results you want. I would try it the way it is designed. I have a P90x group on FB if you like to join. I have done the Insanity/P90x hubrid. I just started Asylum.0
