Newbie here and my story...

Hi I'm Nicole and my sister told me about this site so I am trying it out and looking for friends for motivation or that have a similar story. I was one of those people who was super skinny and never had to worry about my weight. That all changed after having my 2nd daughter at 33. I kept waiting and waiting for the weight to come off like it did with my first daughter and it didn't...Umm yeah it took me 8 years to realize I was going to have to work for this and it wasn't going to magically come off. So here I am at 41 and the heaviest I have ever been. I have a solid 50lbs to lose. I started doing bootcamp fitness the summer of 2011 and lost 20lbs but I was really restrictive l in my diet. Dinner for me would consist of a big glass of milk and that's about it. I took a 3 month hiatus from bootcamp classes and guess what? All the weight came back. So here I am again, starting all over, which totally blows, but hopefully I will learn a few things.
I am back to doing bootcamp classes but only twice a week (I literally drag myself out of bed at 4:30am to do this) and I am given "homework" to do by my trainer on the days I don't have bootcamp. I admit I haven't been very consistent with that at all! Also I decided to go to a Registered Dietician to tweek my eating habits and diet...I think I confused myself more by doing this. So after that appointment I'm trying to muddle through all the info of WHAT I should eat, HOW much I should eat and that I should eat this food with that food oh and she also threw in the zinger that I'm Insulin Resistant...I had to go home and google that!! Holy heck I never knew eating could be so complicated.
Anyways my goal is to get my self back to where I used to be or as close to it as possible. Hoping to meet some new friends on here! Thanks for reading.
