Does can anypne help me determine the amount of calories burned during weight training? For example, If I do 3 sets of 8 reps of dumb bell curls using 30lbs, how much is that? I know nothing is totally accurate but a ballpark figure would truly help.

Thanks in advance.

you'd have to get a hrm to be close to accurate, but even then it won't be 100%.
i just use the cardio / strength training preset to log mine. i know it's not accurate b/c ppl are different & burn at different levels but it seems like a good tool & has worked for me.
  • Heart rate monitors are not accurate for strength training. I have a bodybugg (which doesn't factor in HR), but I've compared it to the live strong method and it's always been pretty close.

It's almost nothing. Imagine you go three times up and down a flight of 24 stairs, you would lift your own weight to a similar height. You burn like 3 calories per flight.
