Who has/had 2 strikes? Seems like quite a memorable time. Most come from defending a friend, questioning a supplement sales rep, or correcting a clueless and utterly rediculous post. Who would like to share their strike stories?

I would but I will probably get my last strike!

One had to do with calling someone a child molester(not actually calling the person one but in the form of a comparison)

The other was a gif of a vacuum cleaner sucking up white powder like it was cocaine....

My first one was for calling somebody "dumber than a bag of hair". My second was for expressing my love for Volkswagen Audi Group cars... there may have been something about topless girls too. I can't remember.

I admit this as I've paid my penance for it...


I made a consorted effort to get the "Do you think the person above you is attractive?" thread locked.

It is the dumbest idea for a thread ever and the dumb fkr rolled 17 times. So, I posted some photos, random colorful words, some interesting GIFs that in some people's eyes could be deemed inappropriate. Lo and behold 10+ pages later the thread had been deleted.

I managed a strike and a 30 day ban from all forums (including groups.)

I've learned the error of my ways and only post supportive comments. :bigsmile:

Just got strike number 2

First strike was in response to a forum of a girl asking for help on how to log food on her phone...my response is"Clearly you are gifted"

Second strike? 'Bout 7 minutes ago for posting a forum of a creative short story which just happened to involve some slight spanking content....

I have 2 strikes, I've actually gotten my third strike twice and both times had it removed. Apparently the word penis should only be used when speaking in medical terms.

I really can't remember, they were back in April or May.

I'm trying to get my third.

I have one strike...maybe 6 months ago...I think I called somebody out on their idiotic post...blatantly. So ashamed...not.

Mine was because this poor woman asked help on the forums about her eating 6500+ calories and struggling with it. Instead of either keeping her mouth shut, calling her a troll, or just helping out, this girl decided to bash her and saying things like "How can anyone eat so much" and "I would be disgusted with myself". As somebody who before joining MFP used to eat 6500 calories per day, that didn't sit well with me and I wrote

"I'm frustrated upon this character knocking by you. You should think about bettering or improving your own tiny character honestly."

In case you didn't get why this got me banned, well, I strategically bolded certain alphabets to spell out something not so polite

Oh yes! One for doing an OBVIOUS parody of a Shakeology sales rep. I included "message me for more details!" AS A JOKE and an actual Shakeology sales rep reported me and the mods looked at that and said "Oh yeah, clearly we need to give him a strike." So just to recap, real Shakeology pusher no strike, fake Shakeology pusher strike.

# 2 was for my Magic Mike thread when I posted a pic of Rock who was banned but wanted in too. So yes, I got a strike for posting another man's body. Not real proud of that one.

I did not hear about that. Are you for real? We can't post pictures of people who have been banned? That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard!

For the record....for those who are silly....the ban was lifted.... and I deactivated that account months later for completely different reasons. lol And the mod that gave the original ban knows I'm here, but no worries as I have no strikes against me anymore.

Mine was for helping to purposefully derail a thread to have it removed (the OP regretted starting it because it called someone else out). It was the funniest thread I had ever witnessed to date.

My post was quoting someone else pretending to be a Honk-If-You-Love-Jesus freak and, amongst many expletives, said that I was going to draw penises and vaginas all over the pages of her bible.

The best part was that the mod quoted my post in the PM.

In my current and past life, I've received a SLEW of warnings..

Posting a screen shot of one specific forum topic... something that rhymes with "Mile Vroom" and in it I superimposed a photo of myself yielding a bloody machete.

I remember back before they issued strikes. I remember some of the events that led up to the implementation of the strike system. I used to be able to stay up all night with so much entertainment on the forums. Now? Yawn.....
