Introduction

Hello! I am a 44 yr old woman who has been steadily adding weight over the years due to bad knee-induced inactivity (7 knee surgeries over the years.) I have been very unhappy with my health and weight, so decided to make some dramatic changes.

I have been doing the Paleo diet since August. I was logging my meals on another site, but have decided to try MFP since it has some features I really like.

I have managed to lose 18 lbs. so far, with the ultimate goal of shedding an additional 50-60 over the next year or so. I am 100% convinced I can do this, and tools like MFP make it so much easier.
