i've been fasting since i was 13 but i'm nervous this year too! since i started MFP i've become a professional water-guzzler and i can't imagine going all day without a sip! good luck to us all

I've been doing it for years and years now. Generally I rally through ok, as you just get beyond hungry in the afternoon. Last year I remember having a terrible headache (worse than usual).

Rules be damned, I brush my teeth as a public service to others...

My husband said the same thing about brushing teeth. He says it falls under "preservation of life".

I am worried about the headache thing very much.

I could never do it until I started drinking water - got too lightheaded- so...I drink it as needed.

Good excuse for non-exercise induced carb loading!
