So I've been doing couch to 5k for a while now but been stuck on week 5 for ages. I have days where I can run 8 mins fine and days where 5 mins in a struggle so when I saw that the next step was running 20mins I didn't think there was any chance at all of me doing it!. However today I went for it and I did it:D Felt like I could carry on after to but I didn't.

Not sure why it says to run for 20mins then on week 6 it goes back to 5, 8 and then 10 minutes but couch 2 5k has worked for me so far so I have faith in it:D

Way to go. After hitting 20 minutes those 5 & 10 min intervals will be really easy.

Follow the plan. When I did it the 20 minute run was cake, the two 10 minute runs the next week nearly killed me :)
  • Way to go! There is a method to the Couch to 5K madness. Keep following it (it never made much sense to me either), it really worked for me!

You have given me hope - Thank you. i struggled with week 4, finally managed it and then W5D1 was an absolute breeze at 3 x 5mins, and then day 2!!!!! I was so caught out with it being 8 mins not 5 that I could not even manage the 5!!
Congratulations for completing day 3, I will have another bash at day 2 tomorrow
