You are burning 1000cals a day?! How long are your working out? Also are you using a HRM to count how many calories you burn? Because if not, you aren't really burning what the machine says you are.
Also eating 1200 and burning 1000, you are only netting 200cals a day and that is not healthy. More importantly, if you have 40lbs to lose like your ticker indicates, it won't happen as fast as you want it because you didn't gain it overnight. If you keep doing this, you are more likely to gain the weight back and then some.
I honestly would not recommend that you do this (burn 1000cals a day).
Actually, I am not at1,000 yet. I just this week announced on my feed---that I was officially going for this.
Monday was 965--Tuesday was 840---that's the closest to 1,000 I've gotten. I was wondering who on MFP was doing this---and how did they do it---because it was a challenge --I wanted to set for myself. I usually deduct points from either MFP or the machines--to make sure it's *under* so that I'm not giving myself a false reading. My original Monday reading was 1079--and it just did not seem right--so I dropped points
but I am going to investigate getting an HRM. I like the idea of "lose weight in the kitchen--gain strength in the gym."It's easy to be honest. I do an hour of weight work, then I do an hour of cardio.
This seems reasonable~Great article here on how more isn't always better: http://cathe.com/is-30-minutes-of-exercise-more-effective-than-an-hour-for-weight-loss-you-may-be-surprised
Thanks for posting this!--I read it carefully.
I can be gentler with my workout plan --more balanced. Thanks all.0 -
Forget worrying about not losing weight. You may start missing periods.
I'm 55! That ship has sailed
Haha. Well, the other stuff still counts. Train smarter not harder. I've been trying to trim down my training times for fitness training from 45minutes to 20 minutes.0 -

I'm doing 1000+ calories a day + weights 4 times in a 6 day cycle. Plus 1 day rest of taking it easy. The 1000 calories per day do not include the weight lifting. My 1000 calorie per day is cardio on the AMT. I can say at times I feel bummed out. But I've changed my eating to healthy foods. Dropped salt and lowered fat. Choosing healthy carb based foods helps and getting the workout in the morning helps. It takes time to burn 1000+ and what you eat and how much is important. Depending what your physical goals are will determine on what you need to do. For me I'm looking to tone and keep active. Typically I'd inline skate 40km per day. But I find the AMT really pushes me to my limits.0

i do at least an hr or more daily except when sick or giving myself some recovery time. not hard to get 1000 cals..
A persons size will greatly impact the total calorie burn doing any activity. My fiance is way bigger than I am, and he burns twice what I do.
When you were heavier, you probably burned even more calories trying to do the same things you do now.0
