Extreme Vitamin A Cravings

I'd never realized this before until I started tracking my foods with MFP, but I expereince Vitamin A cravings. This may sound odd, but I'm prone to eating 1000% of the daily recommended dosage of vitamin A. I went back and looked at my vitamen stats and this is not unusual. Example: today I had salad, and two family packages of spinach. I had to stop myself from eating the pound of carrots and cup of green beans I was going to eat when I saw the stats and got concerned.
Is this even healthy? Should I worry? I've heard vitamin A can help with anemia and pms, which both I fear I may have at the moment. I would describe this as an actual craving, I actually thought to myself several times today that I wanted more spinach/carrots, like someone might with chocalate. Any comments would be helpful.
