Confusion...up...down...UP a lot.

So weighed in today and the scaled is up from 56.3kg to 57.5kg in the last two weeks. I've been following the 5:2 fast since the start of August, with one or two fast days. I'm a PE teacher, train 3-5 times per week and have recently been following Stronglifts with cardio or circuit style training. I generally have my cheat times on the weekend.

I'm not sure if the weekends are causing this, sometimes it's over two days, sometimes it might be a big meal and drinks. Surely gaining 2lbs is meant that i've eaten 6000 over my maintance?

Can someone take a look over my diary?

When you have cheat times do you have cheat meals or cheat days?
If its cheat days that could be enough just to tip you over?

Genearally it's a meal. If i know i'm eating out over the weekend a lot then i still try to be cautious as much as possible. Surely still though if i'm fasting and training i'm still creating a large deficit? Even on days when it's been a lot more in a day i very much doubt i've eaten 3000 calories over maintance...mine being around 2100 calories. I haven't been eating at maintanance on non fast days.

I've had a quick peek at your diary, you have an awful lot of calories left over...it could be that you are needing to eat more, sounds mad I know but if you don't eat enough your body could be hanging on to what you are eating?

This too is what was thinking. Even with the weekend meals i am not quite sure if it is balancing out or i am still very under. Or not sure to just completly stop the 5:2 fasts.

I think the fasts can work..how about eating at least half your exercise cals back? I know when I wasn't losing that it worked for me? I wasn't keen on doing that but when I did the weight started to shift again.
I also cut my workouts from 5-6 to 2-3 HIIT training. Not saying it will work for you as it did me but it's something to consider maybe?

1700 calories i have allocated myself on here is using my TDEE with a 15% cut. A lot of my friends on here have said to increase calories. I noticed when i was off work and less physical this was when the weight came off.
