6lb gain in a WEEK

Okay so ive joined biggest loser uk website 1700 cals a day and i do a workout dvd a day and walking each day drink 10cups of water and bang ive gained a whole 6lb..

Without knowing your stats, it's hard to comment on calorie intake, but if you've been measuring your food and logging it accurately, then it's extremely unlikely that you've gained 6 lbs of fat. It's most likely water retention from an increase in sodium, or an increase in carbs, or from a sudden increase in exercise intensity, or from hormonal fluctuations. It will probably come off again very soon. The scale is a good tool, but it doesn't show the whole picture of your fat loss. If you start taking measurements of your body, that can help to keep you motivated if the scale is not saying what you want it to.0
