Too much protein?

Is that possible? I'm over on my proteins every day, but still under on calories (or just hitting my calorie limit). Does that matter?

  • From what I have read more protein is good for you as it helps keep muscle..... i'm sure peole will correct me if I'm wrong though :smile:

    it is possible, but MFP sets protein at 15% which is very low, so if you are going over this then that isnt too much. I have set my protien to 30% and try to hit this (whihc is about 130g of protein) and this also isnt too much

    You will be fine. I have my macros set at 40% CHO 30% Pro 30% Fat because that's what works best for me for many reasons. You are not at risk for getting too much protein unless you have advanced kidney or liver failure.
