7 months in and 61.4 pounds lost

Hi everyone,

I am proud to say that I have lost 61.4 pounds in 7 months. I am 30 pounds away from my goal and finally don't see myself as "fat" anymore. I am technically still overweight, and while that isn't a good thing, my confidence is certainly better than it has been in years. I have dieted on and off for years and honestly this time when I began, I knew this was it. There was a different intensity in my mind then there ever had been before. I went from a size 18 or so to comfortable 10s. Its a good feeling.

To people beginning their weightloss process- do not give up. Every day that you stay on target is better than yesterday. Before you know it, you will feel like a new person, and that feeling is so worth it. I wish you all well.

I added pics below....

You've got a great attitude! Thanks for the motivational post!
  • I started off feeling miserable about a lot of things, and the change in my weight has had a considerable impact on my attitude toward life in general. I really hope everyone on here succeeds in hitting the goals they've set for themselves. Having been stuck in the obese category for years made me feel helpless, and I want people to know that it isn't the end of the line.
