So it is Thursday. I have been at this for 3 days now, going on four. I am motivated like never before, but frustration set in this morning,.

My diary is public and you all can see exactly what I am eating.

Monday: P-90-X Classic Routine (Chest and Back + Ab Ripper) in the morning. Grappled very hard Monday afternoon.
Tuesday: P-90-X Plyometrics in the morning and grappled very hard tuesday afternoon.
Wednesday: Grappled really hard in the afternoon, went home and did P-90-X Arms and Shoulders + Ab-Ripper

I got on the scale this morning and I was 209.4. I mean WTF? 3 dyas of absolutley gruling workouts and dieting and I lose zero pounds? Yes...Yes....I know it has only been three days but still....

Then of course today I did not do YOGA....just too tired in the morning, and my brother wants to go to lunch today and not train. So I need some motivation. If I go to lunch, I will have a beer...probably a sandwich and fries..and I will enjoy evry freaking minute of it. I will not train, and I will not do YOGA when I come home...and i know I should.

So everyone...a little enouragement is needed. =)

  • So, Dont go to lunch. If your brother wants to spend some time with you, make lunch for the both of you at home. Or just stay focused on what you should eat. Just know that your result are coming and if you eat a bunch of junk now, all that work was for nothing. You can do it!

Make sure you are killing the water! You're body is probably in shock right now and holding onto everything for dear life! Water helps flush all that fat and toxins out. Next week...you're going to get on that scale and be excited! Don't get discouraged in the first week. That's what makes most people give up. Push through it and I promise you won't be dissapointed. Oh, and if it helps...my husband is always asking me to do lunch. I am doing a bootcamp style training right now in the mornings and all I think about is how hard I've worked just to shovel all that junk into my body. Don't be afraid to have that sandwich and beer every now and then, but maybe just half the fries and a little honey mustard instead of Mayo. Every little change helps. P90X is gruelling and if you have the willpower and motivation to stick with that, then you can make it through this! Keep it up and don't beat yourself up, sounds like you're doing awesome!
  • Take a break, go to lunch, and type in every fry RELIGIOUSLY.
If you deprive yourself of everything, you will get frustrated and give up. The occasional cookie is ok as long as you type it in and track your progress. Take the time to go to lunch with your brother. And later, after you type in all those french fries, you will be more motivated to work hard tomorrow.

One more thing. It looks like you are having more problems in the afternoon than other times of day. I'm the type that needs several small meals instead 3 big meals. Try incorporating a snack in the afternoon (cheese, fruit, hummus, yogurt) to help you with the post-lunch sugar crash.
  • Hey you guys rock...thanks. I have sitting on my desk 2 tangerines, a red pear, and a honey crisp apple. These are my small meals during the day.

yeh I just told him that I was going to train and skip lunch. I am going to work on my hands today...do some boxing....

Way to go! Don't feel like you always have to skip lunch with your friends and family. Once you start tracking all your calories you will naturally control how much and what you eat. Keep up the good work!
