postage scale is now my food scale

I have been having problems measuring my meats because I buy in bulk. I had a postage scale laying around, and I thought, what the heck I can use it to measure my food. It works great. Thought I'd share with you all.

    that's too funny! I use the postage scale at my office to weigh my food sometimes.

    I just received my "Ozeri Pro Digital Kitchen Food Scale" yesterday. Its amazing how inaccurate measuring your food in a measuring cup is. Not to mention the difference in raw vs.cooked meat. Now I can pre measure raw and know the accurate nutrition and calories. Its is actually a fun toy for me now to weight everything. LOL

    I often use the UPS scale on my side desk at work, if I need to measure nuts or fruit, I throw it on there and convert it into ounces.
