    They're owned by the same company, Gap.Inc.

    But for quality, Banana is better. I personally like Gap though. Fits my budget better.

    I've always been a Gap supplier. Only recently has business slowed down. But, at any moment, I'm happy to provide young women all the Gap they can handle.

    Banana Republic is OK, but not my flavor.

    I shop at the Gap. I seem to fit in their stuff better.

    Are they still around? I haven't seen a Banana Republic since the 80's. And I think all our Gap stores closed about 5 years ago. Make sure you get a sweater you really like because they might not be there if you need to return it!

    I like the Gap because I find their sizes run big so I feel tiny when I shop there, lol It's the same thing with Old Navy

    I prefer the clothes at Banana but they are also more pricey. I buy a lot of my husband's clothes at the Gap but for women I'm not impressed.
