Hard day right after easy day?

I only had time to do a bit before leaving the house, so was limited to my equipment. I did a high-rep (2x20-30) lower body workout using my home weights, which are probably less than 50% of my 1 rep max.
(I think - eg, hip thrust, stiff legged deadlift - 2 x 30 x 78 lbs; 1-legged RDL, 2 x 25 x 30 lbs).
I went to 'failure', with a 1-2 min rest between sets. No soreness or even feeling I've done anything. It felt like a pleasantly challenging endurance workout.
Ok to go heavy tomorrow on legs/glutes?
Also, any guesses as to what my 1 rep max might be? I'm trying to figure it out but am scared to hurt my back and wrists
